Rambert Grades is a contemporary dance syllabus focusing on technique, performance and creativity through set work and improvisation.

A fantastic class where children can learn the fundamentals of contemporary dance in a fun, open and supportive environment. In the ever-changing world of dance, RAD and other leading ballet organisations increasingly encourage dancers to train in contemporary to develop a wider range of skills and movement styles. Exams are available but completely optional. Above all, this is a fun, creative class where dancers can explore, express themselves and enjoy moving!

Lyrical dance is a blend of ballet, contemporary and jazz and focuses on fluidity and technique

A style that makes every child (and adult!) want to dance! Dancers learn a variety of skills, including kicks, jumps, leaps and turns, and bring them all together in fun, dynamic and beautiful routines. They are also encouraged to connect with the lyrics and music, helping them to express themselves through movement. It’s energetic, creative and expressive, and the kids absolutely love dancing this way!

Contemporary and Lyrical is split within the same class.

Classes are available on Monday’s in barnes and on Friday’s in Clapham Junction from age 8+.
