Here is what we offer

Pre – school Ballet

For our pre-school children we offer Baby Ballet classes (20 months – 2.5 years old, interactive with an adult) and Nursery Ballet classes (2.5 – 4 years old)

In these classes children learn key ‘steps’ like marching, hopping and jumping as well as dancing out the adventures of Bella the Butterfly Ballet. Classes are 30 minutes duration.

Junior Ballet

For children in their first year at school (Reception) classes are a little longer (40 minutes) and start to build on the key techniques required. The correct ballet terminology is taught and skills are developed alongside the popular Bella the Butterfly stories.

RAD Ballet

For children in school Year 1 and above, the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus is taught. When children are ready, and if they wish to, they have the opportunity to take exams. Children can work their way through the grades and, as long as a child wants to dance, we will continue to teach them!

Butterfly Ballet is exceptional. Miss Catherine’s teaching method, a perfect blend of fun and rigour, has improved my daughter’s confidence, coordination, discipline and concentration.  Here every child’s talent is nutured to obtain high balletic standards.  I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
